Miami In April 2017

If you follow me on social media, you know this post is overdue.

Big Pink: A popular diner style restaurant with large servings and swanky dishes like pink pancakes.  2 thumbs up! Their breakfast burrito is a killa!

South Beach: lay out after swimming.  Parked at Nikki’s Cafe Miami (fee to park almost everywhere in Miami Beach) and entered the beach within that proximity. Lots of shopping (day) and clubs (night).

A 4 hour drive down to  Key West

To be honest, way too crowded for my taste considering how early we arrived (9AM) but then it is Spring Break season.

Blue Heaven Lobster omelet!  Need I say more?!

Fort Zachary Taylor Historic Park for swimming; watch out for the rocky side upon entry into the water. Water is beautiful and warmer than that of Miami Beach!  I wanted to stay in all day (longest swim of the entire trip).  Affordable entry fee: 3 people + 1 car = $12.50.

I didn’t do every thing on my list.  I am ready to return however I’ll wait until it cools down.  It was so hot that utilizing a convertible was nuisance.  Miami is one of my favorite cities!

Where was your best Spring Break and why?
